Fixed Price packages
We offer a range of fixed price packages to generate a report on your family history, in a presentation binder, and a family tree. A range of sources are used including marriage and birth certificates, censuses and parish records.
If you wish to purchase a package then please fill in the enquiry form (see link at the bottom of this page). We will conduct a free initial assessment of the likelihood of the research being successfully conducted and then contact you to confirm that the task can be performed. At this point you will need to pay a 50% deposit for the research.
Once the research has been conducted and written-up we will contact you and arrange for the balance of the payment to be made and the report to be delivered.

single branch package
A single surname researched to the early 1800s. The price of this package is £340 including the cost of 5 birth, death or marriage certificates (worth approximately £44), extra certificates can be added at cost. This will cover approximately 8-12 individuals on the direct line including spouses, plus siblings of these individuals where found in the records.
double branch package
Two surnames (for example the father’s surname and mother’s maiden surname) researched to the early 1800s. The price of this package is £520 including the cost of 10 birth, death or marriage certificates (worth approximately £90), extra certificates can be obtained at cost if required. This will cover approximately 16-24 individuals on the direct line including spouses, plus siblings of these individuals where found in the records.
half tree package
All of the direct ancestors on either the father's or the mother's side of the family, researched to the early 1800s. The price of this package is £890 including the cost of 15 birth, death or marriage certificates (worth approximately £150), extra certificates can be added at cost. This will include approximately 30-50 individuals on the direct line, plus siblings of these individuals where found.
full tree package
All of the direct ancestors on both the father's and mother's side of the family, researched to the early 1800s. The price of this package is £1450 including the cost of 20 birth, death or marriage certificates (worth approximately £200), extra certificates can be added at cost. This will include approximately 60-100 individuals on the direct line, plus siblings of these individuals where found.
package comparison
In all cases the results of the research will be written up and presented in a family history binder. This will include all of the information found and copies and transcripts of those records for which images have been obtained. All the sources will be referenced allowing you, or any other researcher, to continue the research.
The package also includes a family tree chart showing the direct line ancestors and a softcopy of all the documents (in pdf format).
Unlike some family history consultants, our terms and conditions mean that you will own the copyright on the research conducted. This means that you can create as many copies of the research output as you wish, or publish the research in a book or on a website. You are also free to pass the research to another consultant to continue your investigations.
